About this Institute
The Institute for Education, Teaching & Leadership (ETL) was formed in August 2010 from two previous departments within the School of Education: the Department of Curriculum Research and Development and the Department of Educational Studies.
... The Institute develops, delivers and disseminates programmes and projects from initial teacher education through to leadership and management.
The new Institute draws together a wealth of expertise and is concerned with all levels of education and all forms of research and knowledge exchange that inform and enhance teacher education, education policy and educational leadership and management.
The Institute therefore develops, delivers and disseminates programmes and projects from initial teacher education through to leadership and management in all sectors of education and at all levels ranging from the local to the international.
