Background

Sarah Frank joined GAAFS in July of 2023 and will be leading two courses: nutritional epidemiology for postgraduate students and a course on evidence-based healthy, sustainable diets for undergraduates. She will also help develop a new MSc in Data-Driven Innovations in Nutrition and Health and additional CPD courses focused on nutrition, climate, and health. 

Sarah is a nutritional epidemiologist who is interested in transforming food systems to be healthier and more sustainable. Her research uses large datasets to examine the healthfulness and environmental impact of current dietary patterns. She is also interested in policy solutions to improve access to and affordability of healthy, sustainable diets.
