Background
Alessia holds an MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University and a BA in Economics and Business from Universita’ Cattolica of Milan (cum laude). After graduating from her MSc she held a position as a research and teaching assistant at Bocconi University, in Milan. During her PhD she worked for the International Monetary Fund (Washington DC) and for the Overseas Development Institute (London).
Research summary
Alessia currently works on the relationship between the housing and credit markets, with a particular focus on the role of expectations in shaping consumption decisions.
