Get on the career ladder with a paid summer internship at the University

The on-campus paid summer internship programme for 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students is now live. Apply for a position by 25 February.

This is your chance to develop new skills and gain valuable experience by working for the University. An internship can help shape your future career plans, and provide great experience to showcase on your CV and at future interviews.

The internship provided me with valuable work experience which enhanced my employability. I now feel much more confident in myself and my abilities and am far more prepared for entering the professional workforce when I graduate.

The internships are based in different departments and Schools across campus and offer structured 8, 10 or 12 week paid placements. Interns will be paid a pro-rata salary of £16,131 per annum.

2nd and 3rd year undergraduates are eligible to apply for the Employ.ed internships which are advertised on MyCareerHub. Vacancies will be advertised unitl 25 February 2015. Applicants can apply for a maximum of 3 internship positions.
