Roadworks at King’s Buildings

Essential road renewal works will be carried out at the King’s Buildings’ Gate 2 main car park in June.

The upgrade will commence on 10 June and be finalised by 21 June, weather permitting.

The road from the Joseph Black Building’s east entrance door to the boundary of the new pedestrian library walkway on the south side of the main car park will be resurfaced and upgraded.

A small area behind the building’s main boiler house will also be repaired and upgraded.

Main door access to the Joseph Black Building, Grant Institute and King’s Buildings House (and its boiler house) will not be affected.

There will be some restrictions to side entrances, and to the Joseph Black Building’s east entrance door.
