Institutional review consultation

A consultation period on the University's Reflective Analysis for the Enhancement-Led Institutional Review (ELIR) 2015 has begun.

The consultation period will run until 2 March 2015.

The Reflective Analysis is a key document in the ELIR process. Staff are invited to comment on the draft online during the consultation period.

In addition, two case studies to illustrate the Reflective Analysis are available for comment.

Events for staff

A series of consultation events are planned that will give staff an opportunity to comment on:

  • The extent to which the Reflective Analysis accurately reflects the University;
  • The balance between descriptive narrative and critical evaluation;
  • Any information that is missing or lacking in detail; and
  • Any examples that could be used to effectively illustrate the points being made.

The events will be held on 24 February (Little France), 25 February (Central Area) and 2 March (The King’s Buildings).

All events can be booked through Event Booking.

Review

ELIR 2015 is the process the Quality Assurance Agency (Scotland) will use to review Scottish universities and other higher education institutions.

A parallel student consultation will be managed by EUSA.

For further information or as an alternative way to comment or feedback, contact Academic Services by 2 March.
