CPD support

Staff considering setting up continuing professional development (CPD) activities can access support from the Office of Lifelong Learning’s CPD Unit.

The Unit’s professional team offers expertise in event management and administration for seminars, courses and conference.

CPD Unit staff provide professional advice, extra support or a full package, according to individual requirements.

Services include budgeting and financial management, managing bookings and payments, organising accommodation, venues, catering and marketing, or helping with delegate bags, joining instructions, registration and post-event surveys.

Examples of recent regular users of the CPD unit include the Edinburgh Law School and Geosciences, Public Health Sciences, Philosophy and Medical and Veterinary Medicine.
