Calendar
The University's academic year is divided into two semesters.
For 2009/2010:
- Semester One - 22 September to 18 December, 2009
- Semester Two - 11 January to 28 May, 2010

Public holidays
The University has changed its schedule of public holidays.
From 2010 onwards the University will retain four of its previous nine public holidays.
These public holidays will be Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, 2nd January (or the standard alternative days in lieu when any of these fall at a weekend).
The University will be open on all other days previously designated as public holidays.
