Course Summary
This course aims to develop an integrated understanding of modern approaches to some of the core areas of psychology (the remaining core areas having been covered in Psychology 1A). Students are also presented with a broader historical, conceptual and methodological framework of scientific and psychological research. Besides this, students are taught and can practice a range of general research skills.
Course Description
The course will cover key findings and concepts in psychological science. Blocks of lectures will cover core psychological areas. Tutorials and labs will accompany the lectures teaching skills in consuming and producing psychological research and presenting that research to scientific audiences.

Written Exam 50%, Coursework 50%, Practical Exam 0%
