Feminisms and cities

In November 2021, the network was presented within the Feminisms and Cities seminar with UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy. In June 2023, network outcomes are shared at a public event in Edinburgh, Feminist Urbanisms.

In November 2021, the network was presented in the Feminisms and Cities event held as part of The Global Perspectives Seminar Series, an EDI initiative with UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy. Professor Suzanne Ewing presented reflections on women's visibility in and on the built environment in Glasgow, in the context of COP 21. Examples included the Coat of hopes, North Light Arts, Cobolt collective, Changemakers campaign.

A public event in Edinburgh takes place in June 2023, Feminist Urbanisms What is it and Why now? Hosted by Daisy Narayanan FRSE and Jude Barber FRSE with Suzanne Ewing from the University of Edinburgh and Councillor Holly Bruce of Glasgow City Council. This takes place in the wake of Councillor Holly Bruce's motion to embed the principles of feminism into Planning within Glasgow.
