Prof Susan Rhind
Susan Rhind is Chair of Veterinary Medical Education and Director of Veterinary Teaching at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. She graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School and following 3 years in general veterinary practice, studied for a PhD in immunology at the University of Edinburgh. She subsequently specialised as a pathologist becoming a Member then Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. Since then she has developed a major interest in all aspects of veterinary education; current areas of research include assessment and feedback, e-learning, the use of models to support veterinary education and student well-being/ support. She has published widely in pathology and in veterinary education and regularly speaks at national and international conferences. She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
