The HERC form was last updated Sept 2022 to include the change in phrasing for compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Ethics Committees flowchart
The flowchart provides an overview of some of the key ethics committees in relation to different types of research projects. However, each research project is unique and if you have a complex project or are unsure which ethics committees you need to submit an application to, please speak to the Committee.
