The aim of this page is to clarify the role and remit of the HERC and provide guidance on applications to staff and students who wish to undertake research using human participants.
The R(D)SVS HERC’s role is to consider and regulate all research involving human participants, being pursued by staff and supervised students of the R(D)SVS.

Research integrity, training, related policies - including the recruitment of R(D)SVS students for external projects - limits are made on the number and types of projects notified to our students.
