Entry requirements

You will need at least a 2:1 in an appropriate science degree and, if applicable, proven English language proficiency.

Degree requirements

You will need at least a 2:1 or its equivalent at undergraduate level in a relevant discipline. These include:

  • Animal Science
  • Biology
  • Psychology
  • Veterinary Science
  • Zoology

This programme can also be intercalated with an undergraduate veterinary degree at Edinburgh or another university. Please speak to your Director of Studies if you are interested in this route.

International students

A 2:1 is equivalent to GPA of 3.25.

English language requirements

If English is not your first language, you will need to provide documentation of your proficiency.

If you have an IELTS score of lower than 7, you will need to sit the Test of English at Matriculation (TEAM) test to see if you would benefit from free English classes.
