External Intercalated honours programme

BVetSci programmes are available to Veterinary students who have successfully completed their second year of their Veterinary Medicine/Science degree.

The number of places available is limited for 2024-25 entry and preference will be given to current students at the University of Edinburgh.

The size of honours programmes is determined by resources available and therefore a place is not guaranteed.

Students from Other Universities

We welcome applications from external students to programmes here at the University of Edinburgh.

Students who wish to apply to the University of Edinburgh are can complete the application form below. Completed application forms should be sent to the Undergraduate Admissions Office at medug@ed.ac.uk by Thursday 1^stFebruary 2024.

Applicants who are applying to intercalate after the second year in their parent programme will be required to provide evidence of their senior secondary school achievement e.g. SQA Advanced Higher, A Level, International Baccalaureate Higher Level, etc.
