Vets visit Symington Beavers

Vets from the Internal Medicine Service recently visited Symington Beavers and taught them about how to gown up for surgery, identify foreign bodies on abdominal radiographs and also gave them a chance to undertake clinical exams on some very patient dogs.

The Beavers also watched videos of gastric foreign removals, bronchoscopy guided extraction of grass awns and swallowing studies using fluoroscopy!

Many thanks to Symington Beavers for the invitation and their generous hospitality, our vets really enjoyed talking about the Vet School to such an enthusiastic and engaged audience!!
