There is an increasing awareness that diet can play a critical role in the management of important diseases in cats and dogs. We have a specialist nutrition nurse who is able to provide up-to-the-minute best practice advice on the most suitable diet for individual patients. We are also keen to test the efficacy of novel diets to ensure that the recommendations we make about foods are based on a robust evidence base. One of our most recent nutrition studies examined the efficacy of a specialist diet and found that it was highly effective at resolving chronic diarrhoea in dogs.
