Interdisciplinary centre and research collaborators
Our rich interdisciplinary research environment consistently attracts world-class research scientists and an exceptional level of funding from government, business, and industry.
Most of our research is carried out within the world famous Roslin Institute, which is incorporated with the School and is the major centre of research.
Our research portfolio also incorporates our interdisciplinary research centre:
The School along with The Roslin Institute, the Moredun Research Institute and Scotland's Rural College, are members of the Easter Bush Research Consortium (EBRC) - representing one of the highest concentrations of animal scientists in the world.
The School, with The Roslin Institute, provides postgraduate research students with exceptional opportunities to work at the leading edge of research directly relevant to the improvement of health and welfare of domestic animal species.
Contact the School's interim Director of Research for more information on the School's Research programme.
