7 Sept 2022 (12:30-13:30)  Recognising, measuring and managing pain in cats

Hayley Walters, RVN, MBE has extensive local and international experience as an anaesthesia nurse and has specialised in animal welfare in a clinical and non-clinical setting. She has worked with bears, street dogs, and with companion animals. Hayley will present a number of examples as well as practical advice in using behaviour to help recognise pain in cats, as well as how to measure and manage pain effectively.

12 Sept 2022 (12:30-13:30) Feline behaviour issues

Dr Kevin Mcpeake is a European Veterinary Specialist in Behavioural Medicine, a Lecturer in Clinical Animal Behaviour and is Head of the Behaviour Clinic at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (University of Edinburgh). The webinar will focus on the topic of ‘feline behaviour issues’, where Kevin will highlight problem behaviours reported in cats during the Covid pandemic; how to recognise the behaviours; as well as measures that can be taken to address such behaviours and support owners.
