The JMICAWE aims to achieve greater awareness of the use of alternatives to animals in teaching and research worldwide.

Healthier animals with better quality of life

The JMICAWE aims to achieve healthier animals with a higher quality of life, free from misuse and abuse.

Supporting developments in animal welfare international law

The Jeanne Marchig International Centre for Animal Welfare Education aims to encourage and support developments in European and International Law to substantially improve the status and well-being of animals in society.

Creating links with international educational partners

The JMICAWE aims to expand the opportunities for students to study and work internationally through creating good links with educational partners and others for exchange opportunities.
