Gidona Goodman

Lecturer - Wildlife Health and Conservation Medicine

 

Gidona Goodman joined the conservation science group in July 2018 as a lecturer in Wildlife Health and Conservation Medicine. She has been with the University of Edinburgh in a variety of roles since 1999. These included teaching under graduate and post graduate courses, clincial duties at the hospital for small animals exotic animal and wildlife unit, clincial duties at Edinburgh Zoo and veterinary support for a number of conservation projects. The most notable of these is the reintroduction of beavers to Scotland.

She is currently focusing on avian wildlife health and conservation projects and supporting and training local scientist in animal related field work
