Sustainability, decolonising, and diversity in the curriculum
Addressing sustainability, decolonisation and diversification in the curriculum.
The Royal (Dick) school of Veterinary Studies has convened a working group to focus on addressing sustainability, decolonisation and diversification in the curriculum.
Remit
To lead staff development initiatives focussed on sharing best practice in:
- Embedding sustainability within the curriculum
- Decolonising and Diversifying medical and veterinary medical curricula

To engage with SPACES curriculum group and provide advice and input into relevant case development
- To explore opportunities for research and dissemination
- To provide an annual report, including recommendations, to Learning & Teaching Committees and the Quality Assurance Equality Committee.
In 2022-2023, the Sustainability, Decolonising, and Diversity in the Curriculum working group (SDDC) will work with students and colleagues to deliver workshops, resources and meet the remit of the group.
