The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies

Accessible learning

The University is committed to ensuring that accessibility of the curriculum is mainstreamed and embedded through out its provision.

The School’s Coordinator of Adjustments is responsible for ensuring that all students with a registered disability receive the appropriate level of support in conjunction with the University’s Student Disability Service.

The School's Coordinator of Adjustments is available for student consultations as necessary. The appropriate Director of Studies in the school is made aware of any students with special needs. Students with special needs are catered for with special provisions at examinations (e.g. special room provision, extra time allocations, the use of “stickers” for exam books, etc). Staff are, therefore, aware of special needs for students, especially in examinations.
