Facemasks
UNCOVER conducted a number of rapid reviews on the use and effectiveness of facemasks in a variety of different community contexts.
In the early stages of the pandemic, there was a need to evaluate the usefulness of facemasks as a non-pharmaceutical intervention (NPI) in a variety of different contexts. UNCOVER's rapid reviews focused on facemask use in the community, including in potentially high-risk jobs and activities; and evaluated the use of home-made facemasks in particular. This topic is not currently under active review by UNCOVER. However, if you are interested in working in partnership with us on future updates, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
