What is RESPIRE? How is it funded? Who does it involve?
What is RESPIRE?
Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), RESPIRE is a Global Health Research Unit focusing on respiratory health in Asia.
RESPIRE projects cover work across all our partner countries, in both acute and chronic conditions affecting adults and children.
The three ‘supporting platforms’ of RESPIRE increase the ability of our partners to plan, undertake and implement the findings of research in their countries.
The RESPIRE team includes partners from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Pakistan.
