Our core methodological strengths are in measuring disease burden, molecular epidemiology and evidence synthesis.

One of nine evidence synthesis groups funded by the NIHR evidence synthesis programme. The aim of the evidence synthesis groups is to address knowledge gaps or to answer a specific need for healthcare, public health and social care stakeholders/audiences.

Funded by the National Institute for Health Research, RESPIRE is a Global Health Research Unit focusing on respiratory health in Asia.
The RESCEU project aims to develop robust evidence on respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) disease burden and economic impact in Europe and provide infrastructure to perform future pivotal clinical trials for RSV vaccines and therapeutics.

The Journal of Global Health is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Edinburgh University Global Health Society, a not-for-profit organization registered in the UK. The journal publishes editorials, news, viewpoints, original research and review articles in two issues per year.
