The University holds information about everyone who studies here. We use the information to administer your studies, maintain our IT systems, monitor your performance and attendance, provide you with support, monitor equal opportunities, make funding arrangements and gather feedback (including the National Student Survey), and for strategic planning. Further information about the University of Edinburgh's Data Protection Policy can be found here.

As the Precision Medicine programme is funded by the Medical Research Council we are required to disclose information about you to them. For details of the information provided to the MRC, including personal data, please see the Terms & Conditions of Training Grants.  Where required, we will also share information with the University of Glasgow as the Precision Medicine programme  is a joint programme.
