Links across the College

Tim Wilkinson is a PhD student in Professor Cathie Sudlow's team in the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences and the Centre for Medical Informatics.  His winning presentation was entitled "Big Data for a Big Problem: using real-world data to understand dementia".

The topic is a great example of the value of strong links across the College - as expertise in health research using big data connects with expertise in the field of dementia research to build opportunities for new and impactful research.

University finals

Tim will go on to represent the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine in the University final in June 2019.
