Our Dynamic Earth

Our Dynamic Earth Peak Flow Puff Activity 2018
Professor Hilary Pinnock and Tracy Jackson at the event with members of the public

Members of the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research visited Our Dynamic Earth with an interactive activity to raise awareness of air pollution and lung health, alongside researchers from NERC Centre for Ecology & Hydrology.

Using peak flow meters, members of the public could test their lung function and plot their own measurements on a chart, while learning about factors which might affect the results - including asthma.

Over 1000 people took part in the two day event.
