Edinburgh Clinical Trials Management Course

Networking and Information exchange

This course will take place on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th December 2023 (further details to follow).

This two-day course is run by Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) and focuses on management of randomised controlled trials (RCTs).  With a blend of lectures and workshops, and plenty of time to talk to fellow delegates, this course is relevant to people currently involved in managing RCTs and those new to this field.

It's a mixture of:

  • education
  • information exchange
  • an opportunity for networking
  • with a pleasant dinner thrown in

The course includes five lectures and five workshops. The workshops cover key topics and involve group work, facilitated discussion and some practical tasks.  The course ends with an 'ask the Faculty' session where a number of small groups will tackle specific questions that have arisen during the course that are of common interest (we cannot guarantee to answer all questions).
