Trial Management

Clinical trials and research projects, regardless of their size and complexity, can benefit from efficient trial management.

At ECTU we have a trial management team comprised of trial managers, trial assistants and trial support officers who can assist at each and every stage of a study’s life cycle including set-up, planning, and implementation and reporting.  Putting in place an appropriate level of management and support is crucial to the success of a research project. Our experienced team can assist with:

• Drafting protocols in collaboration with clinicians and a project team
• Preparing submissions to regulatory and ethical bodies for sites across both the UK and internationally
• Assistance with the design of case report forms, participant information sheets and publicity materials
• Assistance with site training
• Organisation of investigator or training meetings
• Liaising with pharmaceutical and medical device companies with regards to contracts and supply
• Managing site payments and tracking budget/spend on research grants
• Day-to-day trial management including responding to site and patient queries, procedures for site activation and both data and sample management
• Version control management and submission of amendments, progress reports and safety reports
