Computed Tomography Coronary Angiography (CTCA) for the Prevention of Myocardial Infarction

In the SCOT-HEART 2 trial, we will recruit at least 6,000 people from Scotland who are at risk of heart disease and will compare two ways of deciding how to prevent future heart problems.

The SCOT-HEART 2 trial is a non-commercial trial sponsored by the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian. The trial is funded by a research grant from the British Heart Foundation.

If you are between 40 and 70 years of age, live in Scotland and have a risk factor for developing heart disease, you may be eligible to take part in the study.
