Background

Veronica joined the MSc Clinical Management of Pain Team in January 2020 as Teaching Fellow.

She combines her new academic post with a role as Advanced Nurse Specialist with the regional Chronic Pain Service in Lothian.

She has a wealth of clinical experience having worked previously as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Acute Pain Field and as a Senior Research Nurse in a Palliative Medicine Clinical Trials Unit.

She is a member of Scottish Pain and Research Committee (SPaRC) steering group and The British Pain Society.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Nursing Studies (Hons). The University of Dublin, Trinity College.

Master of Science, Pain, (Distinction) Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
