Jo Singleton is a Senior Research Nurse in the Edinburgh Critical Care Research Group.
Jo studied nursing at Glyndwr University, graduating in Mar 2013. After working in an acute cardiac unit and CCU she became as a research nurse at the Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility, an MHRA Phase 1 Accredited Facility, in Oct 2014. There she was involved in many aspect of research as well as the running of the facility. She moved to the Edinburgh Critical Care Research Group in Jan 2019 where she works on intensive care, post ICU recovery, perioperative and ATIMP trials. She has managed research projects over a broad range of disciplines, both here and overseas, in partnership with academia, commercial companies and the Ministry of Defence.
She has a particular interest in Patient and Public Involvement and research education for staff and students. She is also an expert member of the local research ethics committee.
