WP4 Knowledge Network: Privacy Statement

Thank you for your interest in the Advanced Care Research Centre’s (ACRC) Work Package 4 Knowledge Network (WP4 KN).

The main role of WP4 KN members is to act as critical friends and advisors to the WP4 leadership team and research staff, to engage directly with WP4 KN members if and when required, to encourage integration with other ACRC work packages, and to promote WP4’s work, outputs and outcomes.

By completing this form, you consent to the ACRC using the information that you provide to process your interest in our Network. The University of Edinburgh only uses the personal data you have provided to deliver and improve the opportunities and services we provide in a personalised manner, to ensure each individual receives relevant information. To do so, we are using Dotmailer as our mailing system. The information you provide will be used by the University to:

• Keep you up to date with news and progress regarding research at the ACRC
• Provide you with information on new opportunities at the ACRC
• Send you surveys to help us to improve our work
• Ensure we only communicate with you about events, opportunities, or services of interest to you

Your information may also be used in analysis of our Network to improve our practices.

Information about you will be shared with members of the Knowledge Network in order to facilitate communication across the Network. By completing this form, you consent to members of the Network to contact you as and when required. We will hold the personal data you have provided us on a secure server at the University of Edinburgh until you withdraw your consent for us to process your personal data. You can opt out of the Network mailing list at any time. Only authorised ACRC staff and WP4 Knowledge Network members will have access to this database.

We do not use profiling or automated decision-making processes. A human decision maker will always be involved before any decision is reached in relation to you.
