A number of train operating companies provide services to Edinburgh.

You can reach Edinburgh by train from all over Scotland and the rest of the UK. ScotRail is Scotland's key rail transport provider.

Stations

Edinburgh has two main train stations: Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is in the city centre and Haymarket Train Station is located to the west of the city centre.
