Travelling to Edinburgh Airport by bike

Cycling is a cheap, quick and healthy way to get around. There is a network of on and off road cycle routes in Edinburgh.
As a guide, it takes approximately one hour to cycle between the city centre and the airport.
There are cycle routes between University sites and the airport. These consist of a mixture of 'Green lanes' which are priority lanes for buses, taxis and cyclists on main routes, off road cycle paths and main roads.
