Travelling to Edinburgh Airport by bus

Edinburgh Airport is approximately 8 miles west of the city centre. There are a number of buses which travel between the airport and the University.

Airlink is the quickest way to travel between the airport and the city centre by bus. The University's Central Area is just a short walk from its terminus in the city centre, and other sites are well connected from there by bus.

Ticketing A single adult ticket on Airlink is £4.50. A return adult ticket is £7.50. Tickets can be bought on board the bus. Contactless, Lothian Buses Ridacards and Scottish National Concession passes can be used on Airlink. City singles and Day tickets are not valid on Airlink.

Skylink 200, 300, 400 - Edinburgh Airport to city locations 

Skylink services operate up to every 20 minutes between early morning and late evening.
