The University of Edinburgh operates a Parking Management System to ensure that those with the greatest need to park are able to do so. University parking permits The Parking Office is responsible for the management of over 30 University car parks within the Central Area, King's Buildings, Abden House, Easter Bush and BioQuarter. We are also responsible for the allocation of permits for staff, students, visitors, and contractors. Anyone wishing to park in a University car park must display a valid parking permit and adhere to the University of Edinburgh Parking Regulations. These are managed by the NHS. The Parking Office does not manage parking facilities at residential sites.
