The Highway Code
The Highway Code is the official road safety manual for the UK. Certain rules in the Highway Code represent various road traffic laws and must be obeyed.
University vehicles
The Transport and Parking office is the main contact for all University vehicle management issues.
Enterprise Car Club
University staff and students can join Enterprise Car Club for business or personal use at a significantly discounted rate.
Park and Ride
There are bus and rail Park and Ride sites throughout Edinburgh.
Tripshare
The University of Edinburgh operates a private Tripshare scheme to match individuals with others wanting to travel in the same direction so they can share the journey and the costs.
Electric Vehicle Charging Points
We have secured funding via the City of Edinburgh Council ‘Switched on Fleets’ programme and Energy Savings Trust to increase electric vehicle usage on campus.
