To support and encourage cycling the University offers cycle training, bike maintenance courses, a bike to work scheme, interest free bike loans and Doctor Bike sessions. The University also offers a range of cycle parking across the sites as well as discounts in local bike shops.
The University and a number of organisations throughout the city work together to ensure that cycling is an attractive, safe and secure option for many journeys.
There is a network of on and off road cycle routes in Edinburgh and throughout Scotland. Maximise your enjoyment of cycling by spending some time planning your cycle route.
Spokes - The Lothian Cycle Campaign, provide some of the most detailed and up to date maps of the whole of the Lothians. Individual maps for Edinburgh, East Lothian, West Lothian and Midlothian are published.
