Talbot Rice Gallery relies on public funding, donations and grants to run an ambitious and inspiring programme of exhibitions, events and education activities. This page tells you how you can make a donation to the Gallery.
Talbot Rice Gallery Fund
Donations to the Talbot Rice Gallery Fund directly support the Gallery’s public engagement activities, helping to ensure people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can engage with the work of leading contemporary artists. The Gallery’s unique context within the University also ensures audiences and participants can benefit from the Gallery’s collaborations with world leading researchers and access to rare collections, helping to ensure Talbot Rice Gallery is at the heart of discussions about the social role and function of art.
Your donation will help fund tours, talks, events and workshops, and also longer term collaborations with schools and community groups. Inspired by the themes of each exhibition and driven by strategies to increase engagement with the arts, the Gallery’s public programme seeks to benefit over 25,000 visitors and participants each year.
The Gallery also welcomes conversations with funders and donors who wish to support its vision in different ways, for example to achieve a particularly ambitious exhibition, a period of artist research or professional development, or to fund vital new equipment for the Gallery.
