Landscapes as Carbon Sinks' work for the Scottish Land Commission

The Landscapes as Carbons Sinks team have recently completed the work they have done for the Scottish Land Commission, which has now been published.

This constitutes of a review and synthesis of different existing approaches to regional management and governance systems in Scotland.

One of the messages in the advice on the establishment of new Regional Land Use Partnerships from the the Scottish Land Commissions to the Scottish Government is that the way that land is owned and used is central to tackling climate change and the post Covid-19 economic recovery in Scotland, and the decisions and action needed should be driven at the regional scale.
