Take part in the Lab Awards
The Sustainability Awards can give you the framework to help push your place of work to be more sustainable and reward good practice already taking place. Successful teams receive locally crafted and sustainably sourced trophies, presented at our annual Sustainability Awards ceremony by senior managers.
Apply for the Sustainable Campus Fund
The Sustainable Campus Fund is an internal investment vehicle that provides financing to help you implement energy efficiency, renewable energy, and other sustainability projects that generate cost savings.
Anyone at the University – staff and students – can propose projects for the £2.75m fund. Once a project is proposed, we advise and support the development of the project before submitting it to the Utilities Working Group for approval.
Projects are assessed based upon five criteria, including their payback period and how much carbon they will save.
