Building on our values and our commitment to having a positive impact on our local and global community, we are working to ensure that students from a wide range of diverse backgrounds thrive and feel a sense of belonging.

As well as widening participation, we continue to work with our staff and students to deepen our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of the University.

As of 2021, the University has committed to invest £8 million in social investments for the benefit of society.
