Rewilding the world

An evening of debate on the role of rewilding in Scotland and its place on the global development agenda.

Rewilding is the conservation process seeking the return of a habitat to its natural state. But what are its ethical and global dimensions?

Join acclaimed writer, George Monbiot and the inspiring conservationist Alan Featherstone, Executive Director of Trees for Life for this topical event seeking to explore the social, ecological and developmental benefits of rewilding, including the return of 'keystone species' to degraded habitats across the globe.

Organised by the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability as part of Edinburgh World Justice Festival. This event is supported by members of Scottish Environment Link, International Development Education Association of Scotland.
