Social Responsibility and Sustainability

Time for Smarter Economics

Please join us for an evening of debate on the circular economy and its role in creating a sustainable future.

The circular economy is a radical and elegant alternative to the current "take, make and dispose" mindset. But how can we disrupt our status quo to achieve it?

Join us for an evening of inspiring stories and engaging discussion about the role of disruptive innovation and creative thinking in the shift towards a circular economy. Panel members include:

  • Julie Hill, MBE, chair of the UK Circular Economy Task Force and former Director of the Green Alliance
  • David Fitzsimons, Director of environmental consultancy group Oakdene Hollins
  • Iain Gulland, Chief Executive of Zero Waste Scotland

Doors open at 5.30 PM.

Organised by the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability as part of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's Disruptive Innovation Festival.
