Social Responsibility and Sustainability

Sustainability Champions Network Launch - Staff

The Department for Social Responsibility & Sustainability has launched an exciting new network of Sustainability Champions at the University of Edinburgh. We are kicking things off with a launch event!

This event is for any member of University staff or PhD student who wants to develop their sustainability skill set and learn how to make positive change in their place of work. We will be welcoming a mix of colleagues from professional, technical and academic backgrounds, united by sustainability.

Guest speakers and interactive sessions will cover topics such as:

  • Energy saving, renewables and the Climate Emergency
  • Achieving zero waste and moving towards a circular economy
  • Climate conscious travel
  • Fair supply chains
  • The University’s role in the wider community

Whatever your existing level of knowledge or interest in these areas, all are welcome.

The event will start at 10am and run until 12pm, with free lunch provided afterwards.

EASE login required to sign up.

Please note that you must be registered as a Sustainability Champion in order to attend this event. Simply read the information on the webpage below and fill out the form to join the network.
