Social Responsibility and Sustainability

Welcome Event: Sustainability at Edinburgh

Join us for a welcome reception to meet fellow students, academic and professional services staff and local community members. Hear more about sustainability at Edinburgh and ways you can get involved, make connections and really get the most out of this year.

This social mixer event is hosted by Department of Social Responsibility & Sustainability, and the Global Environment and Society Academy  who will talk you through the many ways to get involved with sustainability at the University of Edinburgh.

Via our networks, we bring together students and staff from across the University to explore interdisciplinary perspectives and encourage collegiality. We have a very active community and an approachable Academic network. We aim to support student-led projects and initiatives and can often introduce you to the right people or initiatives.

We will be joined by some of our local community groups, societies and businesses that can help you be a sustainable student during your time at Edinburgh.

This event is open to all University of Edinburgh students across undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research.  We also welcome interested members of staff to join us.

Registration will open in September
