Climate Change Lecture Week

The Buchanan Institute is excited to announce a week of lectures based on our changing climate in the run up to COP21.

Topics centre around problems and solutions associated with climate change.

All lectures except for Thursday will be held in Appleton Tower.

The lectures are:

  • Monday November 9th: 18:00-19:00, Low-Impact Carbon Clubs as a potential solution by Dr. Navraj Singh Ghalei. Lecture theatre 4, Appleton Tower.
  • Wednesday Novemeber 11th: 18:00-19:00, What is COP21 all about? By Dr. Annalisa Savaresi. Lecture theatre 5, Appleton Tower.
  • Thursday November 12th:18:30, Climate Change: Reaching a Deal, and Cutting Emissions by Stephen Smith. Hosted by EconSoc. Lecture Theatre G.03 (50 George Sq).
  • Friday Novemeber 13th: 18:00-19:00, Alternative Futures with Climate Change by Richard Milne. Lecture theatre 5, Appleton Tower.
